Brecon Motor Club were well represented for marshalling on this years Mewla Rally, a total of 14 turned out for a good days entertainment from the competing crews. The day began dry but rain moved in later to make it more interesting! Thanks to all who ventured up for the day and helped. There was local interest too with Jon Hawkins finishing 8th overall with Chris West in a Peugeot 306 Maxi and Sara Williams finishing 14th overall in her quest for BTRDA points.

The next club night will be on Wednesday September 2nd, there will be a slot car racing session organised and details are on the 'club events' page.

Don't forget that the club will be marshalling the German village on the Mewla Rally on August 30th and all help will be gratefully accepted.

The karting evening went off well despite the efforts of some unnamed drivers who provided mobile chicanes and other hazards for the better ones to avoid! Thanks to Wayne Palmer for setting it up and congratulations to Craig Jones on winning the A final with Steve McPhee and Wayne Palmer close behind. Other highlights were Mark Hatton's B final win and Jason Pritchard's off!

A rapid reminder that there is a Karting evening at Weobley this Thursday, 6.30pm for 7pm is the plan, if you haven't registered and want to come along and have a go come to the Castle Hotel this Wednesday for details. All welcome.
