It is with great sadness that we have to report the passing of Nigel Chappelle, he was a great worker for the club, as entries secretary for the Harry Flatters which he enjoyed hugely as he interacted with all the crews making sure that they were sorted out and that they had paid everything they owed! As Chief Marshal for the club many outings were undertaken to man stage starts, finishes and service areas. Famously nobody ever went hungry as you could guarantee that the white pickup would trundle into sight with a large gas bottle stood up in the back and the venerable burner in the back with a supply of sausages and burgers. Nigel wasn't the speediest of drivers and it was quite common to see a large trail of vehicles behind him when he was leaving Epynt! We will all miss Nigel and our condolences go to the family. RIP Nigel.
