Will Arrowsmith had a difficult Rali Bro Caron last weekend but can draw hope from it as he proved to be capable of mixing it in the top ten away from home. With the services of Ceri Davies on the maps the pair were 9th overall at first petrol despite a dodgy clutch and climbed another couple of places in their four door Mk2 Escort before being sidelined with mechanical problems when both throttle cables gave up the ghost with the finish in sight as well.
