  • Rali Bro Teifi

    Sunday, 22 April 2007

I beleive 2 BMC crews made the journey to the Bro Teifi, Mike Jones and Robin Moses used the familiar Peugeot and after some daylight tests that looked like real fun they went off into the night section and managed a credible 27th overall, no doubt bagging a load of points at the same time! Dai 'Block' Jones and Glyn Price were reportedly working out of the Pentrefelin Peugeot Emporium but news of their exploits hasn't reached me. The only news I have is that they didn't feature on the finishers list!

    Pirelli International & Talbenny

It was a good weekend all round for BMC crews, Jason Pritchard and Martin Jones debuted their Citroen C2 on the Pirelli International and came away as 1st in the Citroen category and 10th overall! It was a dream outing which hopefully bodes well for the year ahead. Jason rang me to confirm the result, he was over the moon and Jonesey was off to the bar. Keep it up boys.........

Chris Phillips was also in action at the weekend but at Talbenny where he accompanied Bernard Charles to 7th overall and 1st in their class. This means that the Escort mounted pair lead their Welsh championship class and quite possibly the championship overall.

    Green Leaves

    Sunday, 1 April 2007

No word from the horses mouth yet but looks like it was a difficult night for BMC crews on the Welsh Championship qualifying Greenleaves Rally. Best placed in 19th were Dai 'Block' Jones & Glyn Price who finished 19th overall. Best of the rest were Mike Jones & Robin Moses who picked up a couple of fails to finish 43rd. John Williams & Josh Jones were 53rd while Phil & Craig couldn't emulate their great Gremlin result and finished 55th in the 1 litre Micra.
