Jason Pritchard mixed it with the very best last weekend when he made his first attempt at the Donegal International Rally which was also contested by World Champion Sebastien Loeb. Despite quite a few car problems and some argy bargy at the finish he enjoyed the weekend very much. The rally started well with a class lead but a few stages in the gearbox stuck in third and a heap of time was lost. With it fixed a puncture intervened next sending them well down the order. Everything was going well when two stages from the end the car ended up with just first gear. After nursing the car through the last 2 stages they were still 4th in class but a dispute at the finish has put the result in doubt at present. We will bring more news as we get it.

Meanwhile at Caerwent Bernhard Baron Charles with the mayor of Talgarth accompanying got off to a flying start in second overall behind Peter Lloyd. However things went pear shaped when they argued with a kerb and lost. Back to the revolutionary drawing board for them!

Stage rally debutants Dai 'Block' Jones and Glyn Price had a useful introduction to the discipline finishing 30th overall in the Beemer, avoiding all kerbs on the way! Next event is a first for them as they compete on the Swansea Bay Rally.
