K&N News 29/12/2002 18:56
Brecon Motor Club crews excelled in the dreadful conditions at Pembrey today, Jonathon Williams made good use of his Subaru to claim 3rd overall behind Peter Lloyd and John Morgan while Wayne Palmer and Martin Jones debuted their Toyota Corolla and despite a lack of brakes, finished a commendable 17th overall. Ian Moseley, co driving for Ed Lloyd had a miserable day, missing the first stage when the car wouldn't fire and later going off and finally losing a wheel.
Holrus Rally 01/12/2002 14:40
Brecon Motor Club crews suffered mixed fortunes on this years Holrus Night Rally which was held entirely on the Epynt Ranges and used a unique evening format.
Best of the crews was Martin Leonard accompanied by Ecurie Cymraeg member Kevin Chaffey who used slick navigation and a good local knowledge to finish second overall and first in the semi expert class in their Golf GTi. Christian Prynne suffered from a poorly navigator and this was compounded by a terminal off in the second half. Martin Jones took to the navigators seat again and with a first time driver suffered a bullet (!) through a tyre on the Burmah Road before succumbing to a broken gear linkage and finally a broken exhaust. More news as I receive it.
Air Ambulance Donation 20/09/2002 18:23
Brecon Motor Club will be making a donation of £1,000 to Wales Air Ambulance this year. Spectator parking fees from the SGC Printing Harry Flatters Rally will be used to help ensure that this essential service is maintained within the Principality. Thank you very much to all who have made this possible.

Jones Wins Gremlin 03/03/2002 15:11
After 170 miles of tricky navigation and equally tricky roads, Gerwyn Jones and Ceri Davies made the least mistakes to win the 2002 Dennis Motorsport Gremlin Rally. Many crews were caught out by a particularly nasty slot, just off Mabion Way on the Epynt Ranges. Denis Cardell and his team certainly lived up to their reputation of challenging the best with only a handful of crews remaining relatively unscathed by the end.
